Accomodation/Pre Immigration Clearance

Staying in US for a short vacation in a few weeks. Have booked accommodation via Airbnb. Heard good reviews + it's cheaper. Seems to be a grey area on whether it's legal or not. When passing through pre-immigration clearance, will I get grilled on this? Is it ok to add the airbnb address on the ESTA form ect...

US Immigration don't care about the legality of your accommodation arrangements - rules and regulations about property rental is a state, not a federal issue. On the ESTA just give the address where you will be staying on your first night.
