Looking to buy car in UK. Buying off a dealer and they give me their bank details and we have agreed a price. Was gonna use currencyfair for tx money but don't obviously want to send them money before seeing the car. Anyone any experiences with using the online tx options?

    Check out something like transfermate.

I've used transferwise.com recently and found it very good. Fee was about the same as my bank but the exchange rate they offered was much better.
