Internet / Wifi problems with galaxy s4 mini

    I bought a galaxy s4 mini about a month ago and the internet / wifi connection was working fine up until about a week ago. Now when I try to access Play Store, instead of the app opening, I get a screen with the options of: Redeem, Setting, Help & feedback and About Google. If I open Redeem it's asking me to 'Redeem your code'- which I don't have. If I exit out of this screen the message is "check your connection and try again.

    My twitter isn't showing any photographs in my feed and I can't open any links with any browser. All I get, after about 2 minutes, is "This web page is not available.

    I can't access any sites from Chrome or Internet.

    I have cleared all the caches in as many apps as I can.
    I have disconnected the wifi connnection and reconnected.
    I have set the Keep wifi on during sleep to Always
    I have tried setting the Wifi Power Save Mode to Off, but changed it back again to On when it didn't make a difference.

    Has anyone else got any suggestions?

    I'm not tech savvy - all the things I've tried I googled - so please bear than in mind in your answers :-) Thanks very much.

    As an add on to my last post (can't edit for some reason) I have also tried Force Stop and Disable in Application Manager, Wifi Direct and also Wifi Direct Share - but the Force Stop and Disable options aren't highlighted which means I can't use them!

    Yes, mobile data is working. Internet connection to laptop is working fine too, so i dont understand the issue on my phone.
