Rental properties or self employed? Try and get an accountant now. As in 3 weeks, they wont want your business, as they will have so many others to do

Agree with above. We are doing corporation tax until next Wednesday but income tax will be ramping up from Oct 1 onwards and will be mental for 6 weeks. I have even told family members that if they don't give me info in the next 2 weeks that I am not doing theirs for them. So get someone asap.

Really depends what you have in it. A little bit of rental income on top of P60 income will cost alot less than a sole trader.

Can you give a rough idea in what the costs would be between the two different scenarios? 1. Bit of rental on top of PAYE and 2. Sole trader.

I understand it largely depends on level of activity, quantity of work involved etc but roughly what would the costs be?

    Thanks

individual should be able to do it for 3-500 while a mid size firm will charge 6-800.

Shouldn't cost too much more for return but if you want accounts done aswell then the costs would escalate significantly depending on the size of the operation. The accounts would typically take alot longer than a return so would be a multiple of the cost.

Best to meet with a tax advisor and ask. Initial meetings would often be given free of charge with no obligations.

I charge from €250 for PAYE with rental and from €400 for a sole trader depending on the level of work involved in the accounts.
