Samsung Laptop Keyboard not working

    Hello,

Some of the keys on my Samsung Laptop Keyboard R730 have stopped working or printing weird e.g. q prints q1.

I reckon it happened after I had installed some software tho could be just coincidence.

    I've tried:
    Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers
    Disconnecting, cleaning and reconnecting

None have worked. I also tried system restore to back when it was working ok but this fails each time.

I've plugged in a wireless keyboard and this works fine. Does this defo mean a hardware fault?

I can get a replacement for about €30 but have read online where people have done this and still had problem.

Can anyone suggest anything else to try s/w wise or do I just need a new one?

    Thanks,
    Chuck.

Sounds like you need a new keyboard to be honest
