group funding websites, rights?

In December I paid money to a group funding website. The money I paid was to fund a campaign for a new design of product which I felt was possible to achieve and I had use/need for.

Once funding was raised they promised a roll out of product in March 2015.

I now receive an email saying that there have been some modifications to the design and in fact it is nothing at all like the original campaign, in fact it is a replica of an existing product. I think it's called bait and switch from what I can see on the comments page of the group funding site.

So I am just wondering what are my rights in this situation. I bought into an idea not a product per se. I paid by credit card. The group funding website are not acting on this despite the campaign has raised 250 k.
