I'm looking at getting a smart watch as a present for someone. I'd like it yo be sub 100 if possible? Even a decent generic one would be nice.

Something similar to the 1st Samsung smart watch in terms of interface would be good.

You might keep an eye on that, the Amazon watch is number 1 so far

Pebble for €127 use mailbox.de to get it delivered, doesn't add much.

Wouldn't know much about smartwatches to be honest but the Pebble is what I hear a lot about

The Sony SmartWatch 2 is 120 euro in argos, probably cheaper else where. Doesn't run on Tizen or Android Wear but Sony's own operating system so not really future proof and limited in what it can do but has good reviews. I had a Samsung 2 Neo which ran on Samsungs own software (Tizen) and loved it. Got over 4 days battery and was handy to set up it with tasker. Had to sell it as it was locked to Samsung phones. Currently have Sony Smartwatch 3. Which is fantastic so far but only getting half the number of days on battery life. Both of these are over your budget at around 200 euro. For sub 100 euro range you are really only looking at the generic watch which will be severely limited in what it can do. But if you just want notifications and see the time I would prefer it to a non-smart watch. As said above the Pebble might be what you are looking for. Maybe even a 2nd hand one (excuse the pun).
