Coneygree not going RSA? imho he wont win either RSA or GC
Very Wood for me in the 4 miler
Monksland deffo chance in World Hurdle
imho Sivli C will not win the GC

however, there is plenty more against them than for them.

On paper, he looks a good thing
Ruby went close in this race last year but has not had a chase win at the festival since 2009. Going back 17 years, he has only 1 chase win for Willie at the festival from 20 rides.
Willie is 0/11 in the arkle
and UDS does not have the dosage profile of an Arkle winner

i know Ruby will win a chase again sooner rather than later, I know Willie will probably win an arkle, and I know stats are there to be broken, but at 4/7? not only am i not willing to find out but at the odds a sneaky lay is in order.


Hurricane Fly
now an 11 year old and I dont like backing older than 10 at the festival.
he is probably an above average 11yo but he really needs his soft ground now. the younger rivals could have that bit more speed.
stats are really against him regaining the crown.
strong stats say Hurricane, TNO and Faugheen shouldnt win. I wont be backing Faugheen but cant bring myself to lay him as not the strongest race ever.
come to think of it, i will lay TNO also.
will back Jezki ew and back to lay on Kitten is another I am tempted to play on.

I think having only 2 chase starts and a 6yo, he could struggle in both races, particularly the RSA which appears to be his favoured option

Silvi silvi silvi. overbet again. reason he didnt win last year was because he wandered. he wandered because he was out on his feet. he just does not stay this distance at this track. it is that easy

Fancying a punt on JP McManus' Kitten Rock as a 25/1 outsider in the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday as an each way bet. A massive outsider though considering the amount of big names in the race but might be worth it each way. The Horse is unbeaten in its last 4 starts too I believe
