Opel Zafira revs when stopped and pressing brake

My Opel zafira has been fine but a few days ago she would not start and the ignition switch had gone so I needed to change this but today I noticed that driving today when I pressed the break or stopped dead she would start to rev its self does anyone know what this problem would be or has anyone seen this before thanks…
