Just wondering would you have to be a HEO in the Public Sector to realistically have a chance of succeeding the AP Roles listed on Publicjobs?
Anyone know how many roles there are likely to be?
Are APs generally assigned to the bigger departments such as Social Welfare/Revenue etc?
Any tips from people who have been through the process before?
    Thank you.

    Hi There

I'm not an AP but I am a long t-ime civil servant. There are plenty of APs all across the civil servant, they are considered a senior management grade. I'd say yes, HEO stand the best chance, but if you're an EO with plenty of management experience under your belt you may also have a shot.
