Anyone any knowledge of couples counselling. My OH and myself are going to go soon, do we go in for a few sessions together and then separate, take notes?, we wrote letters to ourselves saying how we feel is it a good idea to show them to the counsellor or should he/she get to know us first individually.

Give the counsellor a ring and ask what their normal procedure is.
