I worked less than 40 hours last week and just checked my pay slip. I was taxed over 110e on emergency tax and usc. 45e emergency tax and 55e for usc.

Can I get my usc money back like I can with emergency tax?
if so how do I go about that?

I understand that usc comes automatically out of my wage but surely it cant be that high for less than 40 hours and just above minimum wage

Ring Revenue to ensure your tax bands, tax credits and USC bands are allocated to your employment. You will need your pps number and your employers tax number - this will be on your payslip.
If Revenue update your credits on a cumulative basis; just advise whomever prepares your payroll that there will be a new P2C arriving for you. Any paye or usc due back will be returned in your next payslip.
