Hi a friend of mine has told me he has a credit card that he never paid since 2001 and maxed it at 500 pounds Irish. Now 14 years later he is looking to get a mortgage but has not told his wife about the card as he had it before he meet her, he lived abroad for a few years that's why he never paid it and. He has now 2 kids and needs to buy a house and has a deposit available to him that his wife raised tru a settlement. The credit card company never contacted him once in the years that he returned home and is now worried that the repayment might be massive. Anyone got any advise is could pass onto him on what he might owe or what's happened to the debt
