Hey guys, I've been meaning to do this for a while as my processor could really use an upgrade, but I've been pressed more recently by the random crashes I've been having after about 1/2hour to 4 hour PC uptime. I'll get some audiostutter for about 5 seconds then my case fan light will turn off, my whole system shuts down and my display will go blank. I think this can be attributed to my processor so: upgrade. Any/all suggestions are greatly appreciated, I'm just looking for something that will let me run wow consistently at 60 on high-ultra/ Will run GTA V really well. I'm not sure if my motherboard is compatible with a newer processor, hence the title so, here are my specs:

Processor: AMD FX 4100 quad core 8gb of RAM 1333Mhz DDR3
Graphics card: AMD Radeon R7 260X
    Power supply: Corsair TX650M
    Motherboard: ga-78lmt-S2P
    I use 2 monitors, 1 1920x1080 and 1 1360x768

Could your system be overheating by any chance? Can you check your temps when gaming pls.
