    Not similar at all.

The Wire is a better sleeping tablet than all the Law and Orders apart from Law and Order SVU. SVU has Mariska Hargitay....she could read the phone book and I'd be watching. Now if she could read the phone book in the nip, we'd be talking Oscars.

Law and Order had ADA's that were always welcome on my screen.

I did...but no Mariska. Epic fail. As said above... the ADA's were something else in Law & Order. No wonder Sam Waterston, Jerry Orbach et al. stuck around and always looked like they were hiding hard-ons. Even Fred Thompson was a serving senator and showing up for eye candy. RIP Jerry and Fred. Class acts.
