Nct suspension test

Hi I'm just back from my nct in greenhills my car a renault Megane failed on the suspension test front axle it said nearside 106 mm offside 52 mm imbalance 51% would anyone know if it's the front shocks or something else the guy threw the cert at me and walked away the place was out the door busy Thanks

My amateur guess would be a goosed damper on nearside. Push down over both front shocks. Is passenger side very bouncy/springy?

shine a torch in to the shock. If there is oil on one its the one that is gone. but it would be best to do both when doing them

Most likely the shocks, one of my rear shocks was leaking and it failed on that but actually passed the suspension test.

Are your tyre pressures the same on both wheels ?

Car needs two new shocks but the passenger side one is completely b******d.
