So the story is my father and me are going halfs on a car
Lookin at diesel cars like ford focus 1.6 HDI or vauxhall astra 1.3/1.7/1.9 cdti

He already has a commercial policy in his own name with full no claims bonus, aswell as being a named driver on another policy. He is 48 w/ full licence for about 20 years or so
I am 18 with full licence since last September and one year driving experience at the end of this month

I have got quotes on such cars for 800-1200 which is quiet good but that is assuming that the policyholder does not have another existing policy

The car will be in his name with him being the main driver
We are finding it very difficult to get quotes as he already has a policy and named driver on another. He has asked current insurers (insuremyvandotie) would they mirror no claims and they were unwilling

I am wondering does anyone know of any companies that will mirror a no claims bonus or allow him to open two policies with them ie cancel existing commercial policy and start one aswell as the car with the one company? Or any company that will allow a new policy in conjunction with another

    Any other suggestions greatly appreciated
    Thanks
