    if a van is being sold for 10k second hand and listed as "No VAT", should that mean the 10k is a cash price or I got to pay the VAT on top of the 10k to the seller.

    I rang a couple of ads, one guy said yeah it was cash, other guy said I had to pay him the vat as he had to pay the revenue. Or does it depend the seller? Theyre private sales.
