You could try Dromoland castle estate/hotel. They had all of the above on it and it was a pretty good and famous shoot once. There is a farmyard with buildings and a good few buildings on the estate that could be made fit for purpose. I worked it as a youngster and you doo need to keep it well policed as it can get poached frequently, and its huge, five thousand acres if I rightly recall.

    Dromoland has reds and fallow.

The shoot stopped a few years ago as I think the rights were down to about 800 acres.

I don't think the hotel / golf course were too keen on it being there but I don't know the exact reasons for it closing.

I assume the Lord still owns the rights as he still has the farm.

The reason it closed down was the golf club,as it is however to the front of the estate and apprently there was some commotion of a shoot and a injured pheasent dropping on someone on the 8th and this story was reported in the "Limerick Pest"Oddly this story happened and was reported in MARCH!!Bit late for a pheasent shoot methinks. So just to give you a heads up on what might be a problem.

I dont think Lord Inchiquin,[very nice guy ,and very approachable], still has the shooting rights as I think he has sold them to the consortium and they to the hotel consortium or maybe he has them again??Dont think he's doing much with the farm or the land.Last time I was down there the farm was utterly derelict.
There was fallow when I worked there and Reds were introduced.Whether the Red are still there is a question,as like everywhere poaching is endemic and back when I worked there we just about had it under control with NPWS [or their predecesors]As part of the estate is under NPWS remit.

There was a commercial pheasant shoot outside Mullingar, Crookedwood to be precise, which ceased about 5/10 years ago. It was run by a man named Gibson if I recall. I once or twice worked my dogs at it and the drives were really good as I remember. Don't know what has become of it since.

True but I think it was down to about 400 acres at closure

400 acres too small to contain the birds

Another place you could try, although it never had a commercial shoot running on it as the project died on the vine is Tinneranna House on lough Derg.

Dr Carmody owned it [He of the many medical HC lawsuits for photodynamic cancer cell treatment] was trying to make a shooting reserve and the main house into a health spa on the estate. It is appx 1000 acres ,he had some exotics on it like american wild turkeys, quail and pheasents,it also had fallow and red deer.Who escaped and the reds kindly made their way over the Clare hills to my let.:D.Yet there are still a few of both species in the area.As it is waterfront, the duck hunting is/was damn good there. Its boat or shore hunting.

Dolrous O Riordan [she of the many millions Euro lottery win] bought it for her son.So maybe , or maybe not that you could swing somthing there?

Not sure of exact size but they have a website-Lough Cutra Castle. They have had a full time keeper. Largest private lake in Europe I think!
