Contact the dept of transport. Speak to them and send an email with the picture (good thinking by the way. I do this always). Report this to your local Garda station and contact Eflow about it too, to let them know what is happening. It will get resolved. Don't even bother with the seller. Just pass their details to the Gardai.

i was thinking of printing the info off and bringing it to the gardai, i have the proper date of sale on it, but will they take me seriously and will eflow listen or just demand the 30 euros?

Or before showing a photo of logbook you've taken, amend date of sale for ten days later than it actually changed ownership, and run through M50 toll bridge 100 times.
    Then report it to garda.
Previous owner will not only suffer consequences of falsifying document and paying for his tolls, but will have to pay for 100 tolls extra on top of that :D

PS. I hope everyone understands that it's a joke.

Eflow are very good at sorting issues like this and they also have a 'talk to' forum on boards. I'd start there.

As above, ring EFlow, from regular first hand experience I can say they are very helpful with issues like this.

Try asking here if you need a hand in how to do things on boards. Read stickies first.

The Talk To... E-Flow forum went the way of the dodo over 2 years ago.

Ring up eflow and get the charges flagged as disputed straight away.

Make your way straight to the garda with any details you can provide especially of the last owner.then to the department of transport.
You shouldn't have any problems with eflow after that..
My main concern would be if the car was used for a crime within the 10days you would have a squad car at your door.
