    A very simple question..

If I want to buy some An Post 10 year National Solidarity Bonds, do I just walk into the PO with cash and get issued the bonds. Or do I need to open an account?

    Thanks in advance.

Shouldn't need to open account but will need all the proof of identity stuff.

Thanks, so to confirm I can just walk into any PO and buy a bond for €500 for example?

I tried to buy the bonds yesterday. I tried to use my AIB Visa debit card to pay but it would not authorize even though I had all the money in my account.

Please can a foreign student studying masters here in Ireland buy from this bond as well?
