Can i have your opinions on this car please http://www.paddyshanahancars.ie/viewanad.php?ad_id=1170082&r= no warrenty said he'd let it go for 2k. What do you guys think ?

I'm fairly sure you can find it much cheaper on DoneDeal if you buy from private person. Since PaddyChancerCars is not giving you warranty ( don't know if they are allowed though) then what's the pros buying from him.

When a couple of years ago I was entering my middle life crisis and started to look for convertible, I was looking at this model/vintage SAAB, BMW e36, Mercedes CLK and few others that would fit my budget. The one I liked the most is the one I have it now - BMW e36 convertible (also automatic). Went to see a few SAAB 9-3 too, didn't like the front wheel drive, gearbox, they way they drive and most of all that tiny little rear window the soft top has on them. They also look good from front only but that's of course is my personal opinion.
I needed a convertible that has seats at the back too, if you don't need them then you can widen your choice even more with a likes of Mazda MX5, MGF, Mercedes SLK and others, all of them are nicer than that SAAB (Opel) IMO.
If you do like SAABs in the other hand then try to stretch your budget at least for next gen. They look much nicer.

Nice looking car on the outside but the interior is shocking.

    absolutely agree:-D

I'd a NG 900 vert for the best part of a decade. Great fun car to drive, wouldn't be overly keen on an auto though.

The real killer with these is the electric roof, if they give problems; they're expensive to fix, with only a few people having a good understanding of them.

I do like SAAB's, I must say though that the next gen, which shouldnt be hugely more expensive (I would think anyway?) was a significant improvement on that model!
