    We are not allowed give advise how to avoid customs charges.

    No illegal/fraudulent stuff can be discussed. But legal avoidance or advice can be discussed.

    e.g. getting stuff in mulitple shipments, or requesting the cheapest postage possible. In which case it might not be above the current limit, or if you got cheap postage at least the VAT will be charged on this lower amount.

    I also anecdotally believe stuff coming via normal post slips through easier than courier delivered stuff.
