We are looking for people interested in joining non-profit self-build housing cooperative for joint purchase of a plot of land and building family homes on subdivided sites. We are focused on the area around Celbridge, Leixlip, Maynooth, Lucan. Would love to hear from anyone with an interest and ability to participate.

What's the plan?

Buy a couple of acres put in the services, do the individuals own the own sites with common ownership of roads and services or a leasehold interest?

We are currently at the very initial stage, looking for other like-minded people interested in setting up housing association in our area. Our plan is to set up a housing association and hopefully register it as approved housing body. If there is enough interest we'll try to arrange a group meeting.
