If you can operate already then the one day is more than enough. It's a load of rubbish anyway. Cost about 300.

up here its €450 for both 180 and 360 some of the tutors are easy enough to pass with, last time I done a 360 ticket the trench had to be perfect, tutor was out measuring it.

    Hi all,

Wondering how do you become a Excavator Operator / Heavy Machine Operator. Thinking of changing my career. Currently working as a Warehouse Operative & have counter balance & PPT licenses. How do ya go about it like step by step & how is the work like, pay, hours, conditions etc ?

    Cheers 👍️

You need to get experience and then do your ticket (driving test for the digger). Pay is roughly 20€-22€ an hour on a site. Hours usually 7-6 or 7-7, circa 50 hours a week ish.
