If your not DIY the pads. Then phoning your local garages and asking for a price would be best.

firstly there are 4 brake pads on the front, but i digress. an average garage will charge between 60-80 euro for brake pad replacement. A main dealer will be in the region of 120.

Check a few local mechanics for quotes.

    Moving thread out of DIY.

You could check the likes of advance pit stop too.

The most pedantic thread reply I've ever seen. Hilarious.
Perchance the op wishes to change the pads on one caliper only?

Up there for most idiotic reply I've seen. Well done.

Is it even possible to buy enough pads for one caliper only? The last time I bought some there was enough for both sides in the box. I understand you are being facetious but for avoidance of any doubt it is not the practice to replace pads on only one corner.

hence why i said I was digressing. Just for everyone else out there who may try to replace pads on one side only..... dont. This will lead to uneven brake force distribution and your car will pull heavily to one side under breaking. The rule of thumb here is that with brakes and suspension you should always replace in pairs, be weary of a mechanic saying he'll replace one side of the brakes or one shock absorber etc.

Just got the front brake pads changed on a 306. Was 38yoyos for the parts + 20 labour (but this included a tyre change).
