    Mc brides athlone, they have the prohunter jacket at €400, thats €150 cheaper than it is in the UK.

    Only problem was if your on the move it tended to rain on the inside!!!

    Sorry about sidelining the topic, just got me musing, of all the 'Tec' stuff I've owned, some at the cost of a weeks wages none would withstand 8 hours plus or more of nonstop rain and active use. The only man was well taped oil skins or a 58 pattern poncho. Thing was you looked and sounded like a silage heap on the move

    Yes , I tried it , felt a bit too light, not as many features, pockets etc

    Have a look at the Paramo Halcon Jacket for something different. Waterproof, breathable and very comfortable.
