Ah sure we'll all wake up dead some day, then you'll be pulling your hair out that you wont be seeing any more evenings, short or not.

I heard it was Denis o Briens fault. Lets all boycott Topaz.

Yes. Despite the continual lengthening of the days, there just seems to be one evening or morning out of nowhere that you notice it. I suppose logically it doesn't make sense but there ya go.

Yes, yes. You tied an onion on your belt.

Good man. Shouldn't be long now. Usually Paddys week you can be sat bare arse on the lawn with ham burgers in one hand, cold beer cooling your overheated sticky scrotum rested between your crotch and bikini top of some random chick who's gone skinny dipping in the Argos inflatable pool in the other hand.

Well it was the style of the day!

And you obviously don't know your onions. The evenings have been brighter by approx 2 minutes every day and today it's noticed! Better put a note in your diary because they'll start shortening after 21st June.

Well, considering Christmas starts two weeks before Halloween.. you're really only talking about seven months or so until we're all ring ting tingling.

The stretch between the winter solstice and January is pretty imperceptible though. It's only really in the last week or two you really start to notice

Ha. I see you have lost none of your wily trickery C.J.

For one thing I'd have to tie Luke Ming Flanagan to my shlane in order to be allowed cut the turf, and for another, why would I rent turf if I am wanting to burn it?

This isn't the 1980's. We have wised up to you.
