Hi, the scroller on the mouse part of my laptop has suddenly stopped working now i cant scroll up or down my pages and is causing me alot of trouble if anyone knows how to fix this

I updated Windows earlier but shouldn't bave anything to do with it. When I first bought the laptop I had the same problem but the guy reinstalled the driver an fixed it that way.

Firstly you shouldn't start another thread when you already have one over in Comp and Tech.
As advised there you should reinstall the driver.
Go to control panel >> Hardware >> Mouse >> Properties >> Driver and select update.

    It's against Boards etiquette

Try downloading a driver from synaptics website suitable for you OS and install

Hmmm, weird. I'm afraid I'm out of ideas for now. Although you could try a system restore to a date before the problem occurred.
