Galway Radiothon 2015

    The first ever Galway Radiothon, ongoing since Thursday morning, has raised €180,000 for Cancer Care West and Galway Hospice.

    Figure may rise, as the figures on the day did not include late donations or pledges, but overall great to see the people of Galway contribute to such a worthy cause.

    Well they were hardly going to advertise it on 2FM, Today FM, RTE Radio 1 etc.....

    There was no reason they couldn't have made it a prominent item on their sister site connachttribune.ie The first I heard about it was when it was over.
