Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The first ever Galway Radiothon, ongoing since Thursday morning, has raised €180,000 for Cancer Care West and Galway Hospice.

Figure may rise, as the figures on the day did not include late donations or pledges, but overall great to see the people of Galway contribute to such a worthy cause.

They did not publicise it much

Well they were hardly going to advertise it on 2FM, Today FM, RTE Radio 1 etc.....

There was no reason they couldn't have made it a prominent item on their sister site connachttribune.ie The first I heard about it was when it was over.
