BMW e91 Runflat issues

    Hi all,

I recently purchased 06 e91. Loving the car but the RFT tires are taking a bit of getting used to. I noticed that driving over painted road lines the car seems to slip to the side... this also happens on pot holes and undulating surfaces. Never had this problem with standard tires on my e36 or e46. I did a bit of googling and found that this seems to be called 'tramlining'...

The tires are pretty worn Bridgestones (which i will be replacing soon anyway) and there doesnt seem to enough room in the boot for a spare tire if i was to revert to non RFT...

    So.. questions are

    Has anyone else experienced this?

What can be done to prevent this?

Which are the best RFT tire brands for not tramlining?

    Cheers
    Joe

On our 3rd bmw now all came with rfts and were replaced with standards had puntures with runflats were sidewall of tyre split from rest of tyre so useless. We carry a can of tireweld and cigarette lighter compressor.
