Makeup lesson

Wondering does anyone have any recommendations for a makeup lesson for older women ? Looking to get one for My Mum for her birthday, ideally it would be somewhere that she could redeem the value of the lesson against products. I know MAC does this but I'm thinking there probably wouldn't be suitable.
