An A class double headder in there. I've never seen that before, or thought it was possible? Looks like clag coming out of both locos.

Double heading was not possible with the As as in multiple working, but a driver in each loco was possible in those days like they often did with steam engines.

There's a picture of the older 201 no 234 there from 1965 that has the title on trial. I'm trying to think why it would be trial. They weren't re-engined from 1969 as far as I can work out.

Also there is a picture of a 121 on trail Bonnet first which looks wrong but that yellow and grey livery looks good.

C233 and C234 were initially refitted with 980hp Maybach engines as a trial when it was looking like GM wouldn't budge on their refusal to sell standalone engines. They were reclassified as B233 and B234 and retained their Maybach engines for a good while afterwards. The most obvious visual difference was that they never got the GM/EMD headlight cluster above the cab windows while they had Maybach engines.
