I replaced the screen on my iPod touch 5th generation but now the WiFi is weak and the front camera doesn't work. Any reason for both to have stopped working? Thanks

How much did you pay for the repair and where did you have it done? Its common for the motherboard to be damaged by inexperienced technicians, this could be why your camera isn't working. The wifi issues could also be a result of carelessness while repairing the screen. The iPod Touch 5 is a fiddly one to do, its not as straight forward as the iPhones.

There must have been a component that got loose when you replaced the screen. Please review these steps to find out more:

Perhaps you just forgot to refit a cable or 2.
