I'm working two jobs and contacted revenue at the start of the year. Basically wanting to split my taxes, Im a sub teacher and also work in retail. my retail job is consistant, every week though, so I couldnt afford to be highly taxed on it as sub teaching could run dry every few weeks leaving me with nothing. the revenue office said it split them evenly and my shop job was relatively untouched. however my pay this week from the shop job left me with 8 euro after tax. I nearly died. what could have went wrong, the office confirmed that my shop job would be fine. I make roughly 112 per week in the shop job, its only weekends. and teaching is on and off, so there's no estimate there. but can it be sorted so that I dont lose my pay for the shop, otherwise I'm seriously in trouble rent wise as this week I',m in the red.

If I were you, I would be keeping all my credits with your shop job and split your cut off between them so you dont get taxed at the higher rate all the time in the teaching job.

Will you be earning more than €33,800 this year total from both jobs?
