It really bugs me how my newsfeed is 80% brands and like pages, and so few of my friends actual posts and updates. Is there a way to create a list or something to see just the posts and photos of my actual friends?

Install ad blocker in your browser. I have the opposite problem. Our pages are not being seen by the people who have liked them, very few get to see new posts.

I'm not sure that is true. I have AdBlock+ on Chrome and use it extensively. It does a great job of hiding actual ads on the side but still shows the posts of brand/like pages I have liked. I think what you are referring to is just the way facebook now works. Not all fans will see every post, they do it selectively. Probably hoping you'll pay. Google it, you are not the only one having the problem!

Ad block is great! You really notice it if it doesn't load sometime with chrome. Ads everywhere! Only thing I notice is if you like a post on a page, a load of similar pages pop up to like?

Yeah, what there're doing with the pages is maddening  If someone likes a page, surely they should get to see all new posts. Who are bookface to decide what you should see?:mad: Rant over, dragging off topic, sorry.

If you dislike any then go to news feed and click on the down triangle. Now here, you have all the options to get control to particular news feed.

not sure you can control what gets shown in your newsfeed. Since FB floated they're hungry for ad revenue and have pushed brands to advertising in the newsfeed. So long as its an earner for FB, ads will keep showing in your newsfeed based on your interests, demographics etc.
