    Hi all,

I'm a first time buyer & purchased a new home in 2014. Can anyone tell me whether I'm exempt from the LPT?
I see all this reference to houses purchased in 2013 but unable to find any info if bought in 2014.
Would appreciate if anyone has any insight?

No sadly your not exempt as properties only bought in 2013 are exempt.

If you bought your home from a builder which was classified as unsold stock on 1st May 2013 then you would be exempt and would be liable for 2016.
