Just wondering is the above available through a scan for the Other Channels on a Sky Box?

I don't have an official Sky Box and I'm looking to put it on my brothers.

Gone blank on mine as is itv hd.

I have the same problem. The channels tune but just a black screen comes up.
I notice above that DVB-S2 is mentioned. I think I only have DVB-S1 option on my Triax 114 box.

I don't know the box specs but would be amazed if it didn't do DVB-S2. Be careful when entering the symbol rate which should be 23000. The more common standard is 22000

Can you help me with this as I could never solve the problem. The triax 114 seems to support dvb s2 but when I go to manual install I am presented with just dvb -t and dvb -s. There is no option for s2. Is it possible that the box needs a software update.
How can I actually change the frequency of a tuned in channel on this box.
Would really appreciate the guidance.

EDIT: Just to give further info. I looked under information on the menu and the software version comes up as
S/W version PESI_S_T_R0.2606

I'm not familiar with the box but this site has useful videos. There is also a large thread in the terrestrial forum.

the traiax has dvbs2

the dvb t or dvbs options that come is asking whether you want to do a terrestial or a satellite search.

out of curiosity why all of this utv hd questions was their a frequency change overnight?

All six ITV HDs working fine for me, I originally only listed the settings above to help others find them.

The only FTA change I can see today is Showcase+1 moved to 11.222 H, 27.500, 2/3, DVB-S, QPSK.

According to KingOfSat ITV3 HD moved a week ago. A sky box should have picked up this change automatically.

I have changed the transponder to 11068 and the symbol rate to 23k. Yet the channel is still blank. The signal is showing 47% (about normal) but the quality is 0%.

ITV2 HD , ITV3HD and ITV4HD are subscription channels. The SD versions are Free to Air.

I got ITV HD. It was a different code to UTV HD. 11097 V 23000

Itvhd yes but you don't have itv2 hd,itv3 hd or itv hd 4, do ya?

No those channels are blocked.

I still can't get Sky News. The signal is coming up at 37%. I wonder is that too low to get it.

Sky News and Sky News Ireland 12207 V DVB-S 27500 QPSK 2/3
SD only, HD is subscription

I have that entered for Sky News but it is not working as I mentioned above.
