Messed up my CV

Just applied for the ESB apprenticeship, I looked at my cv afterwards and realised I made a complete balls of it, my LC results were all over the place and I had a typo were instead of "I'd" I said "I']d".

I'm absolutely fuming I proof read it and somehow never noticed these things. I have a good CV other than that and even have relevant experience, so what's the likelihood they'll look away from me because of the cv? I was thinking of applying again under a new login but I don't know what they'd think of that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to give you this answer.

I remember I was trying to hire someone for an accounts position.

    I received about 200 CVs.

It's not possible for one person to properly read 200 CVs.

So I started using a filter.

The first one was CVs which used weird fonts or had any crazy stuff on them.

The second one was people who used a weird CV format (e.g. they listed hobbies first).

The third one was spelling mistakes...

Eventually I got it down to a manageable number.

I'm not sure there's anything you can do. Sorry.

It depends, were you importing the CV into an application system. Sometimes those imports can go wrong so you might get the benefit of the doubt because of that. When you say your LC results are all over the place are they still readable?

Typically applying multiple times for the same position will definitely get you disqualified. Chalk it up to experience and I am sure next time you will double check any documents before you hit submit.

Can you not go back in and edit your application.
Converting to PDF generally maintains the format.
