Thinking of selling my Canyon Roadlite 6.0

Bought in March 2013. Approx 20,000km on it.

Frame is generally in good condition with general wear and tear items. Never raced. Never crashed. Regularly serviced (Approx 4 times in the last 12 months in the Bike Rack).

It came as a full 105 group set but the chainrings is now FSA (I thin need to double check). FD will need replacing but there is still plenty of life in it for the next couple 1000km

    Selling including the following
PowerTap wheel (Mavic Open Pro with warranty till May)
    K-edge out in front mount
Mavic askium rear wheel (needs new spoke)
Powertap 10/11 speed free hub (currently 10 speed with new 11-28 105 cassette)

    Size: L

Looking for €1000 all in. Would make a great winter/training bike given the power meter.

Will try and post photos later.

Hi. Is there eyelets for mudguards? What powertap is on it?

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 23,243 Mod ✭✭✭✭godtabh

At the moment I am looking to sell it as one or the bike first

Depending on asking price I could supply a Mavic Aksium rear wheel to complete the build? It's in great condition and would match your front wheel.
I have a terrible habit of only using front brake to slow down so rim surface is excellent on rear.

I've never put a mud guards on it so I'm not sure but I dont think so

Its a Pro + as fair as I know

I have a rear askium. Just needs a spoke.

Don't get the mart reference. Should I?

No chance of letting it go for €300. Would be looking for at least €550. Comes with warranty

Bargain buy for someone sure the power tap and wheel are worth the asking and a quality entry bike thrown in. Shame it's a large. You would probably get more if you break it though I reckon or at least sell the power tap for 450 and the bike should move on its own. Glws

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 23,243 Mod ✭✭✭✭godtabh

OK on reflection I may break it up.

I have my price up for the PT. Will include the new Shimano 10/11 speed hub also

I will let the canyon go for €450

450 for the power tap seems excessive. Almost a profit on it. Closer to €200 and may be interested.

No chance. Would rather keep it

Okay. But worth considering that the warranty is also not going to be valid to whoever buys it as warranties are usually not transferable. Unless of course you have confirmed with the retailer who sold it to you (Cyclepowermeters.com wasn;t it?) that the warranty will transfer.

I'd be happy to facilitate any warrantty issues

Nothing wrong with a fella selling something to make a profit is there? Tis how the world turns.

What's the top tube on the bike?

On some forums it is a banning offense. Buy low, sell high. Removes confidence in the use of the forum for sales.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,584 ✭✭✭✭tunney

Anyways I'm out, at that price not interesting.

I paid €650 for it. Paid extra for the 11 speed hub and p&p.

I will need to check dimensions. Not at a computer now. Will check later

I might be interested in the bike less the powertap. What size is the bike? Where are you based?

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 23,243 Mod ✭✭✭✭godtabh

It's a L/56. Not near a pc but the info should be on canyons website

Thank you. I'm looking on behalf of someone. I've been looking for a geometry chart for this... The only one I can find is for the updated flat bar Roadlit, which has a whopper 590mm top tube. You've said this is a L/56; is it a 560mm top tube?

If you wouldn't mind chucking up the tt length, seattube length and headtube length, it'd be appreciated. Also, the price you're asking for now the PM has sold.

    Cheers!

    €450 for the canyon.

I dont think the sizing chart has change just the spec from the current AL and the past AL

    so L on this section

    https://www.canyon.com/en/roadbikes/bike.html?b=3626

Ok, in that case a 590mm top tube is enormous for a large. To big for my buyer, I'm afraid! GLWS, good price for it.

    i'll measure and double check

Checked last night and as per the canyon like top tube is 590mm

Thanks for confirming, sadly it's too big. Great value though, GLWS.
