Upgrading cow cam

So I bought the cow cam system a month or so back and the system itself is quite reliable, but the quality on the camera itself could be a lot better. I have heard of some systems that can be controlled from the phone with a zoom and 360 degree movement, I was wondering a) if it was possible to upgrade the regular camera…

a) if it was possible to upgrade the regular camera to something more movable using the same system

b) if there is different software to get for a new camera and if available is there software that dosent have the monthly subscription charge

c) it its possible to control the new camera itself through the phone, the current cow cam app dosent have this feature so im guessing I would need to use a different app to be able to control it
