2011 Ridley Orion, with Shimano 105 group. Bought from new by myself, receipts available. This bike has about 9000km on it, but in that time, any consumables have been replaced as needed. No crashed, accidents, incidents etc and always housed indoors. Mudguards fitted for winter crud-protection. This bike has never given me even the slightest trouble and is a joy to ride. Anyone wanting to know about the Ridley Orion will find lots of testimonials on here - just use the search feature.

Colour is matt black (unidirectional carbon fibre with a clear matt topcoat) with white

It is a bike for tall guys: official size is 'Large', which for me is just about right - you need to be 6' / 180cm plus to be comfy on this bike.

    So here is the spec:

Carbon frame and fork (officially 24-ton high modulus carbon & 4ZA Orion carbon fork) with Mono seats stays designed to increase comfort
Fork steerer is uncut (always meant to, never managed to...)
4ZA seatpost, saddle, handlebars & wheels
    90mm stem
Conti GP4000s tyres with plenty of life left in them.
    105 5700 10 speed groupset in black.
The drivechain has been fully replaced (BB, RD, chainrings, cassettes) as and whenever parts were needed, so little of it is original except for the front mech.
SKS Longboard Mudguards are near the end of their useful life, included.
Ultegra SPD-SL pedals included - well scuffed but 100% PMO

Currently is configured with 11-25 cassette (or could do it with 11-28 if preferred) and semi-compact crank, 52/36 chainrings. These are Stronglight 'rings on a 110bcd 105 'compact' spider, so it could easily be reconverted to standard 50/34 configuration. I love the 52/36 combination and it is a good compromise for the hilly countryside down here.

Price is €950 ono - about 50% of the new price. Not interested in splitting at this stage.

Pics (saddlebag and garmin mount to be removed before sale)
Saddle and bar tape are used and worn (no cuts) , but I have other saddles to offer if this is an issue.

Loads more pics available if required/may post later anyway

Located in Waterford but will deliver within 100km for my asking price, or to Cork, Limerick or Dublin.

Reluctantly selling as I want to scratch my Colnago itch........
