I have a bathroom which does not a have a window. It does have an extractor fan & one of those sun tunnels. I would like to change the sun tunnel as it does not let in much light and of course no air.

Q: I would like to put a velux window in the roof and build a "tunnel" down to the bathroom ceiling . I think these windows can be opened/closed by pulley cord. This should allow more light in and most importantly allow fresh air to circulate. I would put the velux to rear of the roof (south)
Would this idea work or is there a better way.

    Thanks.
