Try 15-20 years. No way in 2 years time, we just are not that close yet.

Will they be doing a scrappage scheme?

Immortality basically, so long as you look after your head and are never too far away from a hospital full of headless donor bodies. And the pile of cash needed every time.

The next stage is trickier. Canavero believes that the spinal cord nerves that would allow the recipient’s brain to talk to the donor’s body can be fused together using a substance called polyethylene glycol. To stop the patient moving, they must be kept in a coma for weeks. When they come round, Canavero believes they would be able to speak and feel their face, though he predicts they would need a year of physiotherapy before they could move the body.

Yeah, you're a bit nuts on that one to try.

Ethelyne glycol is antifreeze. I bet he's not even a real doctor. Is his first name Nick?

I used to be a dog. Changing bodies isn't an easy process, in fact I found it quite rough

Never mind body swaps, but if this could work for quadraplegics it would be a sensation. If the whole thing isn't a lot of guff anyway...

Good point. We're getting more and more advanced with helping people like that. I reckon (assuming the fella is onto something) we could be seeing "cures" for people suffering a variety of disabilities.

    Ethylene glycol wasn't mentioned.

The treatment will be reality long before I ever find a match for my spectacular taste in tattoos.
