    Hi all
Have a job interview tomorrow with HCL based in Dublin city centre. It's customer care for eircom, does anyone know is working for HCL the same as working for eircom, and if anyone is working for HCL/eircom in customer care role at the moment, what's it like? Working conditions, environment etc? Also I am really nervous about the interview, I know it's competency based, and although I have some experience, I wouldn't have lots. I would really like a chance to have a job, and would like to stay in Ireland. I have a chance of a job in UK, but moving etc is proving to be harder than I thought it would be so to stay here would be great, just wondering how can i do well in this interview and would others recommend working for HCL/eircom?
    Thanks :)

Hi afterglow, I've moved this to work and jobs as it's not particularly relevant to the Dublin City forum, I think you'll get better advice here.

    Good luck!

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

What I do know is that they are an Indian based outsourcer.

Glassdoor has some details on them.

Actually the 5 reviews for Dublin are dreadful!

Had an interview through them and was told I was overqualified because I had project management certification. Looks like i knew more than the hiring manager who was also Indian.
It was only a 6 month poorly paid contract.

    Hi

Had another question so rather than make another thread just thought I would put it here
Have an interview for vodafone through Rigney Dolphin next week.
Have read the thread on the waterford one, can anyone tell me what the dublin branch is like to work in, and any tips for the interview?
I feel I could do this job really well but don't want to be going mad trying to get into a job where the company doesn't value employees etc
Thanks in advance for any help

    Hi
I worked there for half day and i left for HP,
if you are looking for a stable job this is not your best choice
if you can handle non sense and very high stress then you can do it
here they don't care really what you do but customer surveys
if a customer you chat to , give a bad survey to eircom then that's your fault..
i don't know if vodafone is better buit i know HCL in India and Ireland
