Saw this posted on Bargain alerts and thought i'd cross post here. This phone really does look like a great phone for the price. Features a 5" 720p display, Quad core CPU, 16GB of internal storage (upgradable with MicroSD) Also is supposedly meant to have a great battery. Not much use to me but it also features dual sim compatibility

I went through the shopping cart and with vat added in, it comes to €108 delivered  What do you guys think of the phone? Are Huawei phones good with updates or do they usually have a sizeable development community?

He has already said he saw it on Bargain Alerts:cool:.

Op, the fact that its not 4G is a minus imo. I expect 4G will be pretty widely available by the end of this year.

oops, they did! My apologies N64.

Regards my thoughts on this, it seems like a good value back up phone. but would really like to see their 6 PLUS that should also be released soon. The Dual camera sounds very interesting and reviews seem promising!

I think those new Huawei Ascend G7's are a bargain. Thinking of replacing my moto g with one.

I have a two year old Huawei (Ascend P1 U9200) and still stuck on Android 4.0. It was bought new and unlocked (Expansys).

Based on that, I would be slow to buy Huawei again. Having said that, the phone has remained trouble free. It does what it says on the tin. Like a Toyota, dull but reliable.

Looks interesting although one big turn off for me is that it's sent from China so you'd be very much be liable for customs which would add another €31. Also, they don't include shipping, which would bring the total up to €183

Thinking of picking up something as a stop-gap for a few months because I'm badly stuck for a phone, looks pretty decent for the price. Thanks for posting!
