Basically I'm looking for a friends address, I know his name and what part of the city he's from. In the US they have websites like Intelius and reversephonebook, but I was wondering if there is anything like that in Ireland? Thanks

A reverse phonebook type engine would be illegal here. Google is your best shot for info and maybe the phonebook but our data protection laws are way too tight to allow an online search reveal your address for 99% of cases

Frame your friend for possession of child porn. When the news reports are discussing his court appearance, they might give the road address that he lives at.

Tbh, I'm not sure your friend is ready to hear he's the father.

You could ask your friend. That's probably the most straightforward way.

Better off making a new friend whose address you already know.

You could just follow your victim, sorry "friend" home from work.

They don't normally name people like that.

    Stalk him on FB.

Go to the local pub and ask the old guy drinking a pint of stale guinness at the bar. He might even have email these days. So what you really need to do is find the facebook account for that guy.

    Totally not creepy.

I've heard about a book people used to have with everyone's phone number in alphabetical order of their name. Like Facebook but with phone numbers and it was an actual book. That would be useful in your stalk/search, if there still was such a thing. Good luck.

Just call round to his house and ask him where he lives.

Try facebook and LinkedIn. Search for any friends or relations he mentioned that might have more distinctive unusual names and you might find him among their "friends"lists.

If you know his name and town, you could try the electoral register??

Your friend will be severely weirded out if he finds out you looked up his address online instead of asking where they live. At least I would be.

Could you give us some context to this question?

I'm sure there is a reason this friend won't tell you where he lives...

    What's his/her name? I might know him/her

Old friend from school, doesn't have a facebook and no one I know knows how I can get in touch with him. I don't see anything creepy about that at all. I guess people just always assume the worst

For context, there's another thread asking where you could shoot someone other than the head or heart to kill them instantly.

Ask his mother where he lives ? Or failing that report him missing.
