About to order Hybrid system - Risco LightSYS questions

    Hi,
I have been looking to get a hybrid system for self install in a 4 bed semi-D. 10 Window openings, 2 doors and a couple of PIRs needed. IP connectivity required. I am pretty much ready to order and will be getting quotes from Sesco and Richmond Electrical but just need to be clear in my mind first.
    Questions:

    - is there much difference between the LightSYS and LightSYS2 or is it all LightSYS2 now.
    - Do the Wired PIRs and bellbox need to be Risco or will a standard type do
    - Do I need to order a separate wireless module for the Lightsys or is it built in
    - Is a backup Battery needed for this panel or does it come with it.

I have put together the following requirements and I wanted some feedback on if this will be enough to order.
    1 x Risco LightSYS (or LightSys2) Hybrid
1 x IP Module for LightSYS
    1 x Keypad
    2 x Wired PIR
10 x Wireless inertia sensors with contacts
    1 x Wired bell box
    1 x Dummy bell box

    If required:
1 x backup battery for the panel
    1 x Wireless module

    Any feedback welcomed.

Finally I also considered the GSD i70 hybrid but I was put off this by the fact that they are a smaller company and I am worried that in a few years when I want to add additional wireless sensors etc the model may not be supported. Is this an unfounded worry? I previously used HKC but have been put off by their charges for IP access?

    Its all LightSYS2
Any global wired devices can be used.
Yes, the wireless module is separate.
Yes. A 12 volt 7 amp battery would be ideal.

I would not have any concerns re GSD being around . They have been well established in the access control market for a long time now .
Remember it was HKC who were the ones who removed all Astec products from the market after they purchased the company.
You are right to be put off by HKC charges for remote access & alerts, after all most other company's are doing this for free. From what I'm hearing there are price increases on the way for this as well.
