have 25ft x 25ft area which in going to put a tank into for collecting water/run off. only thing is a tractor will be driving over it. do the walls need extra steel or higher strength concrete?
whats the widest you would go with tractor slats?

alternatively would a precast tank with slats on top of it be a runner? cows will be walking across this tank goin to parlour so slats would be preferred option.

What is the absolute max weight slats can take?
Say I was driving over a 16ft tank all winter with tractor and had trailers going over it during summer
    Hardly recommend??

No wouldnt recommend that but if its only collecting rain water I would put a wall in the middle for strength

+1, with 2 12'6'' slats back to back, should cover 25 ft.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

A 12'6" tractor slat 9" deep was rated to carry 12 tonne i think. Wonder if this is still the case.

it's between cubicles and parlour and cows will be walking here 365 days. weanlings are housed behind this so have to cross new tank to feed and access slurry. il ring around when I get a chance see what tractor slats are rated at
