Bathroom-grey tiles and white paint?

I have a large enough bathroom. The walls are plastered.
I'm considering just tiling around the sink and bath with grey tiles and painting the rest of the walls white.
    What do you think?
Is leaving walls painted a bad idea?
Or should I paint them the same colour as the tiles?

I don't think there is a issue leaving the walls painted. The contrast between while and grey could be quite stark. If you'd like a softer contrast go for a shade of grey lighter than the tile colour.
